Karen Gilchrist’s Wine & Food Study trips offer participants a unique opportunity for a private immersion experience for people who want to learn about Chilean wine, food, and culture in a number of the country’s excellent wine regions.
Her close relationships with people in the wine country make her the ideal person to lead small group experiences that open special doors as she introduces the participants to local winemakers and chefs throughout their trip.
During their 7-day immersion in Chile, the participants will explore 5 of Chile’s major wine regions, beginning with an introductory talk on Chilean wine and growing areas, followed by 10 private winery visits & tastings, 7 local gourmet meals plus all breakfasts, cultural city tours of Santiago & Valparaiso, and 6 nights at delightful 3- and 4-star hotels in the wine country.
